About Tara

I help organisations communicate with clarity, consistency, and care when people are under pressure — particularly during major life transitions such as separation, divorce, bereavement, illness, or conflict.

My approach is shaped by nearly 20 years of professional experience. I spent almost 10 years in corporate sales across pharmaceutical, insurance, advertising, and specialty food sectors, where I built a reputation for relationship-building and consistent results. I then co-founded and helped build a small business from the ground up into a successful company, managing operations, staff communication, client relationships, and CRM development.

Alongside my commercial background, I’ve completed over 700 hours of yoga therapy training with The Minded Institute, giving me extensive knowledge of the nervous system, neuroscience, stress physiology, and trauma-informed practice. I’m also a trained divorce coach and family mediator. This combination of corporate experience and therapeutic understanding is what makes my consultancy work different.

Having navigated my own divorce, court processes, and self-representation over the past five years, I’ve seen first-hand how institutions can unintentionally cause harm through poor communication — even when their intentions are good. This drives everything I do.

In 2025 I co-founded SHIFTwithin CIC, which delivers programmes in schools and community settings supporting children and families through major life changes. The consultancy andCIC are separate but complementary — the consultancy focuses on organisational work, while SHIFTwithin delivers direct community support.

I believe that when organisations communicate with understanding and care, people stay engaged, trust is maintained, and unnecessary harm is avoided.

That’s the work.
